The International Meeting of Wind Orchestras is about to start in the city of Shkodra.

This special event comes with its third edition, hosting wind orchestras from Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro are expected to participate, which will bring the magic of music to Shkodër.

The activity will start tomorrow (October 6th) when a concert will be held in the main squares of the city. While the day after, a parade will take place, where parades are planned from different points of the city towards “Mother Teresa” Square.

The march of all the bands together will continue with a performance from “Mother Teresa” Square to the square in front of Shkodër City Hall, to give way to the competing concert of the participating wind bands.

Artistic directors Arben Muça and Bardhyl Hysa, together with organizational director Dritan Mlika, have prepared an interesting program for all participants in this celebration of music and culture.
