On October 4, 1448, the peace between the Albanian Leage of Lezha and the Venetian Republic was signed in Lezha, following the defeat of the Venetian army a few months before by Scanderbeg’s army.

He graduated from the Military Academy of Italy and participated in the anti-Zogite uprising of Fier.  Vokshi was among the first volunteers to join the anti-fascist volunteer brigades in Spain.

On October 4, 1932, the famous Albanian-American director and producer Sten Dragoti was born. He was born in the US in a family of patriotic emigrants connected to “Vatra” Association of Boston and the patriotic movement. Sten Dragoti has visited Albania and expressed his pride for his Albanian ancestry.

On October 4, 1942, the singer Marie Kraja took part in the charity symphonic vocal concert organized in Tirana by the Albanian Red Cross in aid of the victims of the earthquake that year. The singer performed a classical piece accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro Umberto Rampi.
