Under the tunes of the composition “Retrospective – Tribute to Ligeti” [György] by the young Albanian composer, Kris Sopiqoti, started the next concert of the Albanian Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra.

This contemporary piece revived the spirit of Ligeti’s music, known as one of the most avant-garde composers of the second half of the 20th century.

The performance of the Ukrainian-Italian pianist Anna Kravtchenko, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of RTSH, brought concerto number 2 for piano of Frédéric Chopin by) to the audience.

“I was very pleased. This is the first time for me in Albania and I found it a wonderful place. You have a very good orchestra and the conducting was very accurate. I enjoyed it,” said pianist Anna Kravtchenko.

The program of this concert, carefully selected by conductor Aurelien Azan Zielinski, closed with symphony number 1, the spring, by Robert Schuman.

“The concert went very well. The orchestra performed with a lot of energy and we felt the same energy from the audience.”

An art-loving audience attended the concert in the hall of the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Church, among them art lovers, but also young musicians.

Conductor Zielienski promises a mix between the compositions of Albanian artists and those of world fame throughout the artistic season of the RTSH symphony orchestra.
