The Agimi Art Center hosted a masterclass with the renowned director Milcho Manchevski in its premises.

Milcho Manchevski is currently in Tirana as part of the presentation of his latest film, ‘Kaymak,’ at the Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF).

During the festival, the acclaimed director discussed narrative strategies in filmmaking. Manchevski stated that the masterclass was designed to engage in a conversational spirit with the attendees.

The hall at Cinema Agimi was filled with directors, actors, and prominent figures from the country’s art and culture scene. They had the opportunity to gain insights from a globally acclaimed artist, enriching their experiences.

Manchevski’s masterclass, a recipient of a ‘Golden Lion’ in Venice, is just one of the highlights at TIFF. The program also includes masterclasses by Andreas Dresen, a German director, Gentian Koç, a young Albanian director with recent successes, and Sangeeta Datta, a writer and filmmaker known for her work between India and Great Britain.
