“UNI,” a premiere ballet at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet

Following the “Tumankuqja” concert, the Opera, Ballet, and Popular Ensemble Theater is gearing up for another promising performance – the premiere of the ballet “UNI.”
“Is it more challenging to battle with oneself or with the world? ‘UNI,’ performed by the dancers of the National Theater of Opera, Ballet, and Popular Ensemble, has quite a lot to say about this dilemma,” writes Minister of Culture Elva Margariti on social media.
The premiere ballet “UNI” redirects our focus to our inner selves, serving as a guide through the challenges we encounter and the egos we nurture. It aids us in confronting ourselves, ultimately enabling us to construct a self-worthy of our society.
Presented by those who uphold the values of this institution, the artists of the ballet troupe, under the choreography of Julind Dervish and with the assistance of dancers Livia Lara and Rovena Shqevi, accompanied by music from Barbatuques, Brent Lewis, David Toop, and others, orchestrated by Andi Vrap, the contemporary ballet “UNI” will convey poignant messages about the inner and outer struggles we face.
