Voskopoja, a village where culture, tradition, and landscape seamlessly blend, has become the epicenter of celebrations over the weekend.

For two consecutive days, the Municipality of Korça has organized the Voskopoja Festival. This event features a craft fair, nature walks and trails, culinary delights, entertainment, and music, all contributing to the enduring touristic appeal of the area.

As part of these activities, the 5th edition of the mountain run, Trail Running Albania, will take place. Approximately 200 runners from Tirana, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, and beyond will participate.

In the 18th century, Voskopoja served as the primary center of culture. Last evening, it drew a diverse crowd of visitors of all ages, including foreign tourists, who gathered under a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy musical performances by singers.

The artistic and cultural activities, organized by the Municipality of Korça, have the purpose of promoting the historical and touristic treasures of Voskopojë. These activities include exploring folk costumes, guided church tours, horseback riding, and hiking for nature sports enthusiasts.

The food fair stands out as one of the most unique activities, featuring the offering of traditional dishes from Voskopoja. This once again underscores Voskopoja’s status as the favorite and most appealing destination for both local and foreign tourists.
