His status as an Albanianologist and co-founder of this field is widely recognized and deeply appreciated both within and outside the country.

This exhibition offers a humble glimpse into his creative output, showcasing a selection of his works such as “Etymological studies in the field of Albanian”, “The problem of the place of formation of the Albanian language”, “Linguistic studies”, “Studies on the historical phonetics of the Albanian language”, “Albanian studies: selected works”, “Albanians between the West and the East”, “On the genesis of Albanian literature”, “Introduction to Indo-European studies: Pristina lectures”, “The work of Gjon Buzuku in historical linguistic perspective”, “Introduction to the history of the Albanian language”, “In the world of Italian arboretums: summary of studies”, “Singularized plural in the Albanian language”, “On the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Norbert Jokli” and more. Eqrem Çabej indeed made significant contributions, particularly in the study of the language used by Gjon Buzuku. His noteworthy accomplishment includes the republication of “Meshari i Gjon Buzuku (1955) critical edition,” where he provided a transliterated and transcribed version of Gjon Buzuku’s work. The critical edition was a valuable endeavor in the field of linguistics and Albanian cultural heritage.

The exhibition will be accessible to the public in the Scientific Hall of the National Academy of Sciences.
