Over 100 Albanian and foreign albanologists have gathered in Prishtina to participate in the 41st international seminar on Albanian Language, Literature and Culture.

Heads and representatives of the participating institutions said that the seminar is an important scientific and cultural event for Kosova and all Albanians in Southeast Europe.

Part of the discussions at the seminar will also be the topic on the challenges of Albanian language in modern times, since according to the organizers, recently Albanian-speaking countries are facing a decrease of Albanological knowledge.

The International Seminar on the Albanian Language, Literature and Culture was founded in 1974 and was held regularly until 1991, when it was interrupted by Serbian authorities, to restart again in 2000.

Researchers rate it as one of the most important and useful projects to the development of Albanian language, literature and culture.
