Balkan artists, in a joint exhibition in Paris

In the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris, the “Substrate” exhibition has opened, as part of the Open Balkans initiative. This exhibition is a joint project of three artists from Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia.
At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti was also present together with her counterparts; Maja Gojkovic and Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska.
Minister Margariti has appreciated this exhibition as a proof that art and culture are bridges of communication between peoples.
“Together with the Serbian and North Macedonian counterpart, we focused on the importance of art as a factor of peace and economic development, but also the need for more cooperation and free movement for the creative community”, Margariti said.
The artists who joined together for the creation of this exhibition are: Driant Zeneli, Kristina Pulejkova and Nina Zelkjovic, while the curator of the exhibition is Claudia Paetzold.
The “Substrate” exhibition studies aspects of the cultural and natural heritage of the three countries and shows common segments (substrates) that represent the Open Balkans region.
The public will be able to visit the exhibition in Paris until August 12, 2023.
