The International Film Festival “Dropull 2023” arrives in its third edition.

40 films mainly by Greek, Albanian and Kosovar directors are in competition, 11 of which are animated films for adults. Some of them were projected in the amphitheater of Sofratika, in Adrianople, where 2000 years ago poets, philosophers, orators performed and the great dramas and tragedies of the time were played.

Short films compete in the Dropulli festival.

They are made by young directors and bring everyday topics. There are films that focus on human strength, survival and often the absurdity dictated by developments without a compass.

The festival is a 4-day marathon not just of film, but also of visual art, drawing, music, customs of local life.

The first evening, in the ancient theater of Adrianople, brought a guitar concert and a short Greek film made in the 60s.
