French Cultural Week returns Tirana to the music arena

The activities of the French Cultural Week continue in Tirana and other cities of the country. Last night, three events were organized one after the other in the capital, all three dedicated to International Music Day.
Tirana turned into a music arena with events in the “Rinia” Park, in the hall of the Orthodox Cathedral and in the Hemingway Club.
In the amphitheater of Park Rinia, the present citizens followed the children’s group Xhuli Dance & Music.
Three choirs that included visually impaired people: Joy of Singing (Albania), Vue d’Ensemble (France) and Karditsa Conservatory (Greece) performed accompanied by Beti and Sigi Bastri.
Meanwhile, in the hall of the Orthodox Cathedral, there was another choral performance where people with visual impairments were also involved.
The third location of the Music Festival was in the evening at the Hemingway Club, where the Niki Zaimi Band and Rione Junno Trio performed, with traditional tarantella and pizzica music from the Puglia region of Italy, which brought joy to this area of the city. The main purpose of the Music Festival, initiated by France, is to spread joy by bringing musicians out into the squares and neighborhoods to perform for free.
