The 13th edition of the Balkan Film and Culinary Festival started in the city of Pogradec. The festival takes place from June 20 to 24.

The 2023 edition will bring around 80 films to the citizens and visitors of Pogradec, filmmakers and art lovers from the country and the region. Short films, animation films, documentaries and feature films from 11 Balkan countries are projected in the program.

Film works represent Turkey, Romania, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Greece and Montenegro.

This year the films will be shown over 5 days, in two locations: the morning program will be shown in the city cinema, starting at 11:00. The evening program will start from 19:00, at the second location, a few meters from Lake Ohrid, in the Odeon provided by the Pogradec Municipality. Every evening there will be shown old Albanian films which have been recently restored.

The 13th edition of the Festival is made possible thanks to the valuable support of the Pogradec Municipality, the National Center of Cinematography and other partners.
