June starts with the Week of Italian Culture, whose activities will take place in Tirana and its surroundings, until June 7. This week’s program is packed with events, among which we mention the promotion of various Italian products in shopping centers, a concert with the songs of the Italian children’s festival “Zecchino d’oro”, book promotions, culinary with an emphasis on the most famous Italian product pizza etc.

One of the peculiarities of the Italian Week in this second edition of the International Cultural Weeks is the “walking consulate”, an innovation that will bring closer to those interested, direct consular services. Today the “traveling consulate” will be in Shkodër, a city where there will be a number of other activities, including film screenings, promotion of “Made in Italy” products, etc. Those interested in consular services, such as students, will be able to obtain information without having to make an appointment in advance with the consular authorities.

Apart from Tirana and Shkodër, the Italian Cultural Week will also be present in Vlora today, with the presentation at the Vlora General Consulate  as well as a “cabaret” show at the Ismail Qemali University.
