A meeting is organized today at Europe House, in Tirana with the writer Elvira Dones, who is the second guest of the series “In other words”.

Dones will talk with Fabio Rocchi, university professor and author of the monograph “The First Voices of Albanian Italophone”.

This conversation is part of a series of meetings with the most interesting voices of Italian fiction, of Albanian origin, and comes as a collaboration between the Italian Institute of Culture and Europe House.

Elvira Dones is a bilingual Albanian and Italian writer. She has written seven novels, two collections of stories, several screenplays and produced a series of documentaries for RSI – Swiss Radio Television.

Meetings of this type enable readers to get to know the writers who left Albania years ago and who are the protagonists of an intense intellectual experience abroad.
