The classic ballet masterpiece “Don Quixote” returns to the stage of the National Opera and Ballet House (TKOB) after two decades.

The play is based on the famous satirical novel of the same title by Miguel de Cervantes.

The adventures of Don Quixote are conveyed through body language by the professional soloists of TKOB, directed by Alisa Gjoni, while the choreographic play was created by the European ballet icon, Giuseppe Picone, under the orchestral direction of the well-known Italian maestro, Jacopo Sipari, accompanied by the TKOB Symphony Orchestra.

The costumes designed by Dea Bejleri give life to the characters of the work on stage, going back to the time when the work was written, i.e. the 17th century.

This artistic performance is staged for 4 evenings, on May 26, 27, 29 and 30.
