Albania is being presented in another international arena, at the International Architecture Biennale in Venice, which takes place from May 20 to November 26.

The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, was present at the opening ceremony of the biennale, while she emphasized in a post on social networks that, “with the timeless reflection on the future of architecture and architects as a factor in the change of public space and environment, Era and Martini they introduced us to the “Laboratory of ideas” of the biennale.

“A cross between the virtual and the tangible, where the interactivity proposed through the digital language is accompanied by the sound of steps on the gravel, as the basic material of the construction”, emphasized Margariti.

The project that represents Albania in the 18th edition of the International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale is “Timeless Reflections or: How we learn to live in synthesized realities.”

This project is presented by a group of young artists: Era Merkuri (architect and team leader), by Martin Gjoleka (architect), Ani Marku (architect) and Geraldo Prendushi (digital artist).

The 18th International Architecture Exhibition, which will take place from May 20 to November 26, 2023 in the Giardini, Arsenale and various locations around Venice, is entitled: Laboratory of the Future.
