Rama: Albania’s spectacular stand at the Turin Book Fair

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on social networks a photo album from Albania’s pavilion at the Turin book fair.
“Albania’s spectacular stand at the International Book Fair in Turin is ready – one of the biggest book fairs in the world”, writes Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The Albanian stand was realized as a cave with large stones, on one of which there is the inscription “Chronicle in Stone”, which refers to the novel of the writer Ismail Kadare, “Chronicle in Stone”.
As the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti put it, the Albanian stand at the Turin Salon will speak in the Kadare language.
For the first time, Albania is a “friend country” (“paese ospite”) at the International Book Fair in Turin.
In Sala “Albania” there will be about 40 activities, presentations and round tables discussions with the most popular Albanian men of letters: Lea Ypi, Ornela Vorpsi, Bashkim Shehu, Lucia Nadin, Matteo Mandala, Enkel Demi, Ardian Ndreca, Fatos Kongoli, Ylljet Aliçka , Stefan Çapaliku, Durim Taçi, Rita Petro, Anilda Ibrahimi, Liridon Mulaj, Tobias Xhaxhiu, Andreas Dushi and many others.
