The city of Elbasan has welcomed the International Puppet Festival, a cultural event which is organized for the first time in Albania.
8 foreign and 3 Albanian troupes will take the stage of the “Skampa” Theatre.
During 5 nights children and adults are invited to enjoy the magic of a puppet show.
This whole enterprise came as an idea and desire of the well-known actress Shegushe Bebeti, who has been giving life to children’s dolls for more than 40 years.
The first show that opened the festival was “In the world of chocolates”. It came under the direction of Hysen Mullajonuzi. “In the world of chocolates” is a theatrical work for children, where a little girl named Lidia, while sleeping, the dream takes her to a strange world, the world of chocolates and sweets. There, in addition to good and sweet things, there are also dangers that Lydia herself faces.
