The rehabilitation of the second segment in river Gjanica in Fier is about to be completed.

Prime Minister, Edi Rama has published photos from this construction site along the river Gjanica, an urban and environmental transformation in the city of Fier.

Rama points out that until yesterday this river was a source of pollution and flood risk for the city and today it is a green artery in the heart of Fier.

This government investment and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund is transforming the city center and the river Gjanica crossing it.

As part of this investment, work has been done on the laying of stone and decorative tiles along the river, the installation of lighting as well as greenery with various trees.
