Art exhibition “My Europe” opens on March 28

On March 28, the “My Europe” exhibition opens in Tirana. This exhibition concludes a year-long project that fosters discussion on Europe through art. Invited to the show “On the radio” that was broadcast this morning on Radio Tirana 1, the head of the project, Blerta Tuci says that the project was born within the framework of “Tirana European Youth Capital”.
“Thanks to this exhibition we can communicate Europe and what we will experience thanks to this process also through visual art and the involvement of artists from Albania and Kosova to give two different contexts of this process and how young people see and perceive it.
Tuci says that the exhibition culminates with the project “Art brings Europe closer to young people”, in order to understand how the European values and dimensions are and how much this cohesion affects us. “What we want to bring through the exhibition is to put the artists in front of a competition and challenges that they will face as artists, whether it is in the registration of the works, their promotion, in the display and exchange in other exhibitions.”
The curator of the exhibition “My Europe”, Elton Koritari says that there are 20 works to be displayed in painting, sculpture and digital painting.
“My Europe” opens on March 28 at 16:00 and will remain open until March 31.
