A joint Albanian-Chinese exhibition is being held at the Tirana Gallery

One of the key activities within the Chinese Cultural Week program is the exhibition opened at the Tirana Art Gallery, titled *”MIQTË / Art & History”*. The exhibition will remain open throughout the Chinese Week, from September 23rd to 29th. It is a joint painting exhibition featuring both Chinese and Albanian artists.
The Chinese Cultural Week (JKN) website notes that friendships are what help us appreciate and respect each other’s cultures, fostering collaboration beyond borders and drawing upon the powerful inspiration that art provides to everyone.
The International Cultural Weeks invite art enthusiasts to discover this visual dialogue that connects two cultures, sharing deep emotions and messages through art. Curated by Helidon Haliti, the exhibition presents art as a wonderful tool for bringing together people and countries, demonstrating that throughout this journey, we have been able to preserve our shared memory.
The Chinese Cultural Week (September 23–29) coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and China. The week-long program is filled with various events that introduce the public to the millennia-old art and culture of the People’s Republic of China. From music to cinema, painting exhibitions to gastronomy, and children’s games, this week offers excitement and entertainment for all.
