TIRANA, December 9 – Defence Minister Pirro Vengu addressed participants of the United Kingdom’s Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC) during a session held at the Armed Forces Academy in Tirana. The programme brings together more than 250 officers from 45 countries and serves as an important forum for exchanging strategic military experience.

Vengu said that Albania continues to strengthen its role as a stability factor in the Western Balkans. He added that the country contributes consistently to NATO and international missions and aims to reinforce its profile within the Alliance.

The minister noted that Albania, despite its size, shows professionalism, seriousness, and firm commitment to collective security. He also stressed that international partners express strong trust in Albania’s Armed Forces as a result of sustained work and dedication.
