Albania at Turin Book Hall

Albania will be the guest country of the Turin Book Fair, which will be held from May 18-22, 2023.
Through a press conference, the invited country to this year edition and the edition’s theme, which will be “Beyond the Mirror” was presented.
“We welcomed the invitation with pleasure and we believe that we will present ourselves with dignity with some of the representatives of our literature and publishing houses, through whose work we rediscover and re-dimension ourselves, but also present ourselves in the eyes of foreign readers. We can’t wait to meet in Turin, in the name of literature but also in the name of beauty,” Minister Margariti said in the video message to those present.
During the presentation made for Albania, it was said that a major role in this cooperation is played by the community of Albanians who have been integrated for years in Italy, but who preserve their roots with dignity.
“Only in the region of Piedmont, where the Fair takes place, more than 38 thousand Albanians live and thanks to this community we have learned to know each other and see each other as if in a mirror,” said the organizers of the Book Salon, who have also invited Sardinia, as a friendly region.
