The Albanian Embassy in Kosovo held the second evening of the cultural cycle “Albanian Film Nights”. The event was organized in cooperation with the Central State Film Archive and supported by Kino Armata.

The evening featured the film “Concert in 1936”, directed by Saimir Kumbaro.

As part of the Albanian Film Nights program, which runs until November, Prishtina will screen films produced in Albania during the 1970s–1990s. The program targets film enthusiasts and school students to strengthen their connection with the Albanian language and national cultural values.

The event opened with a welcome speech by Ambassador Petrit Malaj, who highlighted the initiative’s role in promoting Albanian cinematic heritage and reinforcing cultural ties between Albania and Kosovo.

Representatives from Kosovo institutions, the diplomatic corps, and art and culture enthusiasts attended the screening.

The film “Concert in 1936” was shown in its restored version with English subtitles.
