Albanian Pavilion Opens at Venice Architecture Biennale

Albania officially opened its pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Biennale in Venice—one of the world’s most prestigious art and architecture events.
Curator Carlo Ratti and Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja attended the ceremony. Anneke Abhelakh curated the Albanian Pavilion under the theme “Building Architecture Culture.”
The pavilion explores architecture as a social language—a tool for dialogue, inclusion, and transformation.
Renowned architects like Bjarke Ingels and Winy Maas joined the event, highlighting Albania’s growing global presence in architecture.
The pavilion will remain open to the public from May 10 to November 23, 2025.
