Tourism, Culture, and Sports Minister Blendi Gonxhja met today with the Italian delegation, including the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Italian Cultural Institute, and Italy’s Ambassador to Albania, Marco Alberti.

The meeting focused on joint projects to strengthen cooperation in art, creativity, and culture.

Key topics included plans for an Italian Museum in Tirana featuring Italian art collections, and collaboration with Rome’s MAXXI Museum under the upcoming Albania-Italy government agreement.

They also discussed cultural events for 2026, covering cinema and music, the revitalization of the Arts Park (Kinostudio), and a package of projects to support contemporary art in Albania.
