“Alegorias” on Stage at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet

Art draws the invisible line between reality and imagination, guiding us on a journey through both worlds.
“Alegorias” premiered today on the stage of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, bringing the rhythms of flamenco and Andalusian music to life.
The performance embodies the moment when fantasy gives shape to the unseen, turning emotion into movement and thought into form.
In this space where boundaries fade, Julia Cambra and Paula Comitre met for the first time on stage. They speak different artistic languages but move within the same creative universe.
On the TKOB stage, silence became rhythm, the body became language, and art became a bridge between worlds.
“We bring to the stage concepts that are so opposite yet so complementary: contemporary dance and flamenco, contemporary music and traditional flamenco,” said Cambra and Comitre in a television interview.
Paula Comitre, one of the most acclaimed flamenco talents of her generation, transforms multicultural heritage into a vibrant artistic dialogue.
The performance is part of the artistic calendar of the International Dance Festival of Tirana, which also includes a flamenco dance class for enthusiasts of this discipline.
