Over the weekend, the artistic history of the Jorganxhi family brought together not only the people of Korça but also others in an evening filled with many emotions.

The evening, titled ‘Jorganxhi Story,’ was held on the stage of the ‘Andon Z. Çajupi’ Theater in Korça. In a packed hall filled with art lovers, the creativity of the Jorganxhi family was professionally presented, with family members and other artists taking the stage.

The gala evening was dedicated to the extraordinary Korça family, known for producing renowned musicians and poets such as Gaqo Jorganxhi, Rozmari, Zhuliana, Ricardo, Gjergj, Hektor, Lambert, and Dorina.

The musical selections from their creative repertoire lasted nearly 3 hours and received applause from both the art enthusiasts of Korça and spectators from Tirana.

The evening was enriched by the reminiscences of the family’s artists and the video messages from fellow artists and friends.

In a social media post, Nertil Jole, the prefect of Korçë District, expressed that the Jorganxhi family is not only a valuable asset to the arts in Albania but also a source of pride for Korça.
