The work titled “Once we leave the country, we always come back” at the Venice Art Biennale 2024, created by Erick Meyenberg and Gentian Doda, with a Mexican-Albanian artistic team, surprises in the Mexico Pavilion.

The news announced by the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, in a post on social networks.

A video installation that presents the Doda family, an Albanian family that has emigrated to Italy for 30 years, in an idyllic and nostalgic moment, that plays with the concept of “eternal return” among objects eroded by time. The poetic film accompanied by sculptural works by the Mexican artist Erick Meyenberg and the choreographic intervention “On the reliefs of a time” by Gentian Doda created an absorbing and unforgettable experience for those present.
