President Bajram Begaj attended a ceremony organized by the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He praised Albanian businesses for contributing to the country’s economic growth.

Begaj said entrepreneurship gains even greater importance as Albania nears the final stages of EU accession. He stressed that clear rules, transparency, rule of law, and a supportive environment are essential for businesses to compete successfully in Europe.

He added that Europe offers high standards of quality, ethics, and responsibility, guiding businesses toward fair competition and long-term success. Begaj highlighted the importance of cooperation between state institutions and the business community to ensure stability and trust.

The President thanked businesses that support local communities, create jobs, promote social responsibility, and contribute to a more open and inclusive economy. He emphasized the need for positive role models and a modern business culture that benefits all citizens.

Begaj praised the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for improving the business climate, encouraging innovation, enhancing managerial skills, and promoting Albanian products and investment.

He concluded by stating that strong businesses, responsible institutions, and honest cooperation will help Albania move confidently toward the European family as a competitive and dignified economy with a clear future.
