Berat, the city of one above the other windows is increasingly becoming a destination for local and foreign tourists.

Berat recorded a high flow of tourists last year. The data show that in January-December it was visited by about 400 thousand visitors, where 80% of the tourists are foreigners.

Local authorities say this is the highest number of visitors in the entire history of the city.

What is noticeable according to local authorities, is that in recent years tourists are spending more time in the city. Earlier tourists made daily visits, while now they stay at least 1-2 nights in the city.
