On March 3, 1878, the Treaty of San Stefano was signed. The treaty seriously harmed the Albanian ethnic lands and became the cause of the explosion of large protest movements, which led in June of the same year to the foundation of the Albanian League of Prizren.

On March 3, 1907, the painter Zef Kolombi was born in Sarajevo from a family from Shkoder. After graduating in painting in Rome, he was appointed a drawing teacher at the Elbasan High Pedagogical School, where he taught for 10 years. In the last years of his life, he suffered from asthma and tuberculosis and passed away at the age of 42 on January 23, 1949.

On March 3, 1911, Mustafa Hilmi Leskoviku or Muço Qulli published the first issue of the political and social weekly “Drita” /The Light/ in Manastir/Bitola. It could publish for only one year.
