After a short break, the International Cultural Weeks return today, with the days dedicated to the culture of Azerbaijan from August 31 to September 3.

Among the most important activities that will take place today is the performance of the State Chamber Orchestra of Azerbaijan, “Gara Garayev”, which will bring chamber music mixed with traditional elements.

Named after the famous Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev, the history of this orchestra is closely related to the activity of the composer who brought an emancipated musical model to Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, the exhibition “Heydar Aliyev-100” opens at the National Historical Museum, and the cuisine of Azerbaijan, especially traditional sweets, is presented. Another presentation of traditional Azerbaijani cuisine will be held at “Scanderbeg” Square as well as along the “Murat Toptani” promenade.
