Durrës Seafront Welcomes “Adriatic Tavern” Fair

Last night, the “Taulantia” promenade in Durrës opened the curtain on the “Adriatic Tavern” fair, filling the coastal air with the aroma of traditional dishes and the sounds of festive music.
The three-night event aims to showcase local cuisine and craftsmanship, turning the promenade into a meeting place for residents and tourists alike. Visitors have the chance to sample delicacies prepared by local producers and to explore handmade works by artisans from different regions of the country.
Participants welcomed the fair’s growing tradition, noting the opportunity it provides to present their work to a wider audience. Municipal representatives emphasized the importance of supporting local producers and artisans while reviving Durrës as a vibrant cultural and tourist hub.
“This year brings something new, as we wanted to combine flavor with tradition. We have many handcrafted items from local artisans, right here in our community. The idea was to highlight all those who create handmade works that have recently become highly sought after by tourists, while also preserving elements of our cultural heritage,” said Floreta Kërtusha, representative of the Tourism Office in Durrës Municipality.
The fair will continue for the next two nights, offering a rich gastronomic and artistic experience for both visitors and locals.
