EU4Culture Highlights Historic Accessible Premiere at National Puppet Theater

The National Puppet Theater thrilled audiences with its latest production, “Bon Boni në Mbretërinë e Ëmbëlsirave,” delivering a historic step in cultural accessibility, EU4Culture said.

The show brought imagination to life with colorful characters, elaborate costumes, choreography, and urban Albanian music. It drew inspiration from iconic figures like Tefta Tashko Koço and Marie Kraja.

The production included audio descriptions, allowing blind and visually impaired children to follow every scene, movement, and detail. This approach let all children share the same enchanting journey on stage.

ANNEX Labs, under the EU4Culture program, funded and supported the performance. UNOPS implemented the project in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports.
