On the day of awareness, attention, and promotion of cultural heritage, Regional Directory of Cultural Heritage of Berat organized the exhibition “Art & Heritage,” by the author Dritan Çoku.

The exhibition drew attention to the risk and factors of the loss of monumental values. 26 sketches of artistic graphics depicted cultural objects with historical and cultural significance that are missing in the city of Berat.

The sketches are part of illustrating a research work, a monographic study of a house with a porch in the city of Berat that no longer exists since 1969.

The activity took place at the Tekke Convents (RDCH offices) where representatives of institutions and students from the “Ajet Xhindole” artistic school were present.

“This day comes as a call to protect our heritage and its monumental values,” said RDCH of Berat, regarding the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
