First Albanian Women’s Duo Debuts at Mozarthaus

For the first time, Mozarthaus Vienna will host a concert by two Albanian musicians performing as a duo. The recital takes place tomorrow evening at the Bösendorfer-Saal, famed for its excellent acoustics.
Violinist Ina Kosturi and pianist Rejsi Prosi will present works by Alberto Ginastera, Aaron Copland, and Kosturi herself.
The program includes Sonata for Violin and Piano, Improvisation for Violin Solo, and Greetings from Vienna, all published by the renowned Universal Edition.
Kosturi is a violinist, composer-performer, writer, and associate professor at the University of Arts in Tirana. Her career spans solo performances, teaching, and collaborations with leading Italian artists. Her repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music.
Prosi is a concert pianist and master’s student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.
She has won top prizes in international competitions across Europe and the U.S., including a solo performance at Carnegie Hall in March 2023. Since November 2024, she has held the prestigious “Live Music Now Steiermark” scholarship founded by Yehudi Menuhin.
