TIRANA, March 14 – Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, said the ministry and its diplomatic missions maintain constant contact with Albanian citizens in the Middle East amid regional tensions.

In a post on X, Hoxha said embassies provide information, guidance, and consular assistance while coordinating with local authorities to address any needs.

He added that the ministry set up a special task force on February 28, when the crisis began. The team monitors developments and maintains round-the-clock contact with Albanian missions in affected and neighboring countries.

Hoxha thanked Albanian diplomats and foreign service staff for continuing their work under complex conditions. He stressed that protecting Albanian citizens remains the top priority.
