For the second consecutive year, Albanian cinematography is presented to the European public at the prestigious International Film Festival “Festival Lumiere”, organized in Lyon, France.

The Central State Movie Archive announces that after the presentation of the restored movie “Tana” in the 2022 edition, at this year’s Festival, the curators have selected the movie “Tale from the Past” (1987) directed by Dhimitër Anagnosti . The movie will be shown in its restored version in the “Treasures and Curiosities Section”.

This section brings 14 little-known or old movies from 13 different countries of the world such as the US, France, Italy, Poland, Albania, South Korea, Madagascar, Portugal, Switzerland, and other countries.

It aims to propose to the audience an opportunity to become familiar with important cinematographic works and to discover moments of movie history.
