German Cultural Week Hosts “From Bach to Blues” Concert

As part of German Cultural Week 2025 and the 13th edition of the “Violinistic Greetings” festival, the National Theater of Opera, Ballet, and Folk Ensemble hosted a unique concert tonight.

The evening featured German violinist Caroline Adomeit and Albanian pianist Fatma Spahiu. Their program, “From Bach to Blues”, took the audience on a journey from the timeless sounds of Johann Sebastian Bach to the impressionist colors of Ravel. In addition, the concert included Adomeit’s own arrangements, works by Kosturi, and Albanian violin music.

The audience enjoyed a night full of energy, virtuosity, and strong emotions. Indeed, the performance blended classical and modern styles, moving seamlessly from Bach to Blues.

Caroline Adomeit, who has over 275,000 social media followers, is internationally known for her innovative interpretations and her “music without barriers” approach. She has released successful CDs, performed on major European stages, and teaches at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt.

Meanwhile, Fatma Spahiu, a professor at the University of Arts in Tirana, brought her unique mastery and sensitivity to the piano. Together, they created an unforgettable recital experience.

Moreover, during her visit, Caroline Adomeit will lead a violin masterclass for students. This will take place in collaboration with the Faculty of Music at the University of Arts.
