Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports Blendi Gonxhja met today with the Italian delegation. It included the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Italian Cultural Institute, and Italy’s Ambassador to Albania, Marco Alberti.

They explored new ideas and projects to boost cooperation in art, creativity, and culture.

The talks focused on creating the Italian Museum in Tirana with collections of Italian art. They agreed to work with the MAXXI Museum under the upcoming Albania–Italy governmental agreement to be signed in Rome.

They also planned joint cultural events for 2026 in film and music. In addition, they discussed ways to revive the Park of the Arts (Kinostudio) and to prepare a project package that promotes contemporary art.
