President Bajram Begaj today marked the 27th anniversary of NATO’s military intervention against Slobodan Milosevic’s regime, which brought freedom to Kosovo. In a message shared on “X,” President Begaj emphasized Albania’s gratitude to the United States and NATO allies.

He stated: “Today marks the 27 years since NATO’s military campaign against Slobodan Milosevic’s oppressive regime, a campaign that ended successfully, bringing freedom to Kosovo and the peace we enjoy across the region today. Albania remains, today and always, deeply grateful to the United States and its NATO allies.”
