“Music knows no language, knows no boundaries and distance. And an evening with good music is always a celebration of the beauty and spirit of a people”. That is the statement issued by the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, at the end of the concert that was held last night with Greek music, at the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana.

The singer Kleoniki Demiri performed at the concert, who had pieces of the most popular Greek composers in her repertoire.

The concert at the Orthodox Cathedral can be considered one of the highlights of the Greek Cultural Week, which will continue with culinary, sports, theater and again music.

The Week of Greek Culture continues with the International Short Film Festival of Dropulli, a festival which today moves to Tirana.

The “Dropull Travels to Tirana” program foresees that today 4 short films will be shown at the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Cathedral.

At the same time, the activities of the Greek Week will also take place in Finiq, where today a group of Greek music, songs of the “rebetiko” genre, will be performed.
