Helvetian-Albanian archeologists make a spectacular discovery in Lin i Pogradec; It happens once in 100 years

A stilt settlement (construction on wooden piles stuck in the lake) has been newly discovered in Lin i Pogradec.
The director of the Construction Institute, the well-known architect Artan Shkreli, calls it “a spectacular discovery that happens once in 100 years”.
The discovery was made by a collaboration of archaeologists from a Helvetian-Albanian team.”We are talking about an above-water settlement of about 55 centuries BC. (!) A rare discovery in terms of antiquity! And with an agricultural economy attached – among the first trials of agriculture in Europe, too!” Shkreli writes.
Confirmation, after carbon analysis, is given by Albert Hafner, director of the Institute of Archeology at the University of Bern (Switzerland).
