TIRANA, 10 March 2026 – The National Iconographic Museum “Onufri” opened a photographic exhibition in Vlora to mark its 40th anniversary.

The Independence Museum hosted the exhibition. Curators selected photographs from the collections and spaces of the Berat museum. The exhibition showed the museum’s most representative icons. It also highlighted details from historic rooms and elements of Albanian iconography. Visitors followed a visual journey through the history and aesthetics of the collection.

The Onufri Museum said hosting the exhibition at the Independence Museum has special significance. The museum attracts many local and international visitors throughout the year.

The exhibition commemorated four decades of the Onufri Museum’s activity. It promoted the museum’s values in other museum spaces. It also allowed the public to explore one of Albania’s most important iconographic treasures.
