Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations Erjona Ismaili met with the U.S. chargé d’affaires Nancy VanHorn today. They praised the close bilateral relations between Albania and the United States.

During the meeting, Ismaili reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law and fighting corruption. She highlighted the continuation of judicial reform, compliance with NATO defense obligations, and investments and training to ensure cybersecurity.

Ismaili said the main goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for every citizen. She added this must rest on constructive debate and institutional responsibility.
