Italian Conductor Beatrice Venezi Impressed by RTSH Orchestra Ahead of Debut Concert

Internationally renowned conductor Beatrice Venezi is in Albania for the first time to lead a concert with the Albanian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra this Saturday at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In an interview for RTSH, she praised the orchestra’s technical skill and heartfelt performance, calling it rare.
The program features ‘Swan Lake’ by Tchaikovsky and ‘Scheherazade’ by Rimsky-Korsakov. Venezi described the works as powerful and accessible, saying the concert offers an emotional experience for all audiences.
She stressed that classical music builds civic values and sharpens critical thinking. As artistic adviser to Italy’s Ministry of Culture, she supports reform in the performing arts and calls for greater access for young people.
Venezi encouraged Albanians to attend the concert and connect with the music. For her, classical music remains a living force that shapes minds and unites cultures.
