Italian evening at the fortress of Porto Palermo on the 4th of August

An Italian evening will be the one on August 4th at the Porto Palermo castle, where from July 14th the third edition of the festival that bears the name of this castle, will bring 36 internationally famous artists to the stage.
A show by the famous Italian theater actor and director Roberto Ciufoli accompanied by Michael Rodi on the piano.
The evening will start with “GOLA”. A monologue by Mattia Torres revised and performed by two young actresses Tess Alice Tacconi and Jane Landucci.
Gola shows how the history of the twentieth century has influenced the relationship of Italians with food. The misery caused by the Second World War, a distant memory, has become an unsettling thought that is avoided by lavish cooking and a long preparation time. The actors tell this ironic story with all the love that only an Italian can embody for the pleasures and worries that the cuisine of this country brings.
The participation of the actors Roberto Ciufoli with Jane Landucci & Tess Alice Iaconni in the third edition of this festival was supported by the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana.
This edition includes a total of 15 performances between poetry, ballet and a combination of Cesar’s violin and electronic music. Culinary experiences and guided tours of the castle are also planned during the 5-week festival.
The festival continues on August 11 with a concert by Dren Abazi and closes on August 12 with a concert by the well-known violinist Olen Cesari.
