Japanese ambassador promotes tradition from Gjirokastër, Takada Mitsuyuki in folk costume of the highlanders

The Ambassador of Japan in Albania, Takada Mitsuyuki chose Gjirokastër for the realization of a photo set, where the Albanian folk costumes and tradition were at the center. Dressed in the costume of northern men, Ambassador Takada conveyed the message of Albanian ethnographic heritage preservation.
The promotion of Albanian costume design by diplomatic dignitaries also comes within the framework of the National Folk Festival, which will be held at the end of June in Gjirokastër. On the other hand, this type of promotion adds an important ring in the tourist chain of the stone city.
