“Kala fest” resonates in “New York Times” and “Metro”, Rama: Summer festivals, ambassadors of tourism promotion

The international media continue to echo touristic Albania, this time focusing on the many summer festivals that attract tourists from all over the world.
Prime Minister Edi Rama published today on social networks the articles of the prestigious American “New York Times” and the British “Metro” which write about “Kala Fest”.
Rama appreciated that the summer festivals that are being added year after year, such as “Kala” in Dhërmi, “South Outdoor” in Borsh, “UNUM” in Shengjin, “Lova” in Livadh, etc., are among the best ambassadors of promotion, extension and enrichment of the tourist season.
“For Albania, the international media ‘New York Times’ and ‘Metro’, which write about ‘Kala Fest’ as an event to properly present the wonders of our coast, while the summer festivals that are increasing year after year like ‘Kala ‘ in Dhërmi, ‘South Outdoor’ in Borsh, ‘UNUM’ in Shengjin, ‘Lova’ in Livadh, etc., are among the best ambassadors for the promotion, extension and enrichment of the tourist season”, writes Rama.
The summer festival “Kala Festival” in Dhërmi (May 31-June 6), in addition to the atmosphere for fans of electronic music, is also a good promotion for Albania’s tourism.
This year there were over 3000 participants per week, from the UK and other European countries, as well as famous international DJs.
The festival comes as a perfect mix for promoting the coast, developing the local economy, consolidating festivals and starting the summer season earlier than every year.
